Case Study 1 - Costa Coffee, Derby
Longsands Engineering Ltd were consulted in February 2018 to provide a full package of connection designs for the new Costa Coffee pod in Derby City Centre.
Connections included moment connections and base plate designs to Client specific loading executed to Eurocode suite of standards.
Designed, drawn, fabricated and erected within 2 months this project was time critical and Longsands Engineering were able to react to support the short lead time.
Case Study 2 - Middle Drive, Darras Hall
In April 2018 Longsands Engineering were consulted to design a bespoke property in Darras Hall. The design included a bespoke curved glass balcony.
Using Autodesk Fusion 360 we were able to model the steelwork and get a life like representation of the steelwork prior to installation. The steelwork will be erected in early 2019.
